irst, please report all spam DMs in the “report-spam” channel under the “IMPORTANT” category. Please be sure to include the username and discriminator (the #0000), a screenshot of the message, and tag @Moderator. This will ensure that we ban that user as quickly as possible.
If you feel you are receiving too many unsolicited DM’s from bots and spammers, and would like to block this feature altogether, go to discord > settings > privacy & safety. Toggle the “Allow direct messages from server members” and switch this off. This will block DM’s for anyone who is not on your friends list. Warning: Other server members, the LLC bot, and even staff members will not be able to make direct contact with you via DM if this option is disabled. You will have to add individual users you wish to communicate in DM with directly to your friends list first.
